The New Mexico Association of Food Banks is a strategic and thoughtful advocate at local, state, and national levels for policies and actions that will reduce food insecurity. Please click here to read the policy on advocacy and lobbying.
Fresh, healthy food is important for everyone, especially vulnerable populations such as children and seniors. Every year we acquire and distribute millions of pounds of fresh produce to distribute through our member network. This produce supplements our other emergency food supply sources and is an important source of nutrition for hungry New Mexicans.
In addition, we provide state-wide transportation services for our member food banks.
